Kemba Credit Union, Inc. has been doing business with Golden Eagle Insurance since September 15, 2005. At that time we changed from a Collateral Protection Insurance program to VSI. I cannot tell you how much it has saved the credit union time and money. CPI can be very time consuming since it requires constant attention and not only did the balance get adjusted but so did the payments, Members were very frustrated when they were notified that it was added and in most cases, their insurance agents sent the required information but it was never received because of all of our offices and different addresses. Loan interest had to be adjusted, as well, if the premium was added and not refunded on the same day. VSI is a very easy product to use. No tracking, notices or debits and credits. Claims processing is very easy and their staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. It is nice to know that our collateralized loan portfolio is covered with minimal maintenance. I am writing to you in regards to the Mortgage Impairment, Blanket Mortgage, VSI, and Flood Policies that the Bank currently holds with Golden Eagle. I cannot express to you enough how happy we are with the service you constantly provide to us. Claims are extremely easy to file, payment for claims is quick, and overall customer service for even the most basic question is always handled in an efficient and timely manner. In a time when customer service often takes a back seat, it is refreshing to know that there are still companies out there that still emphasize this core concept. The simplicity your force place flood system brings to an often complicated process due to regulatory concerns is a breath of fresh air in comparison to the old system we had. For a community bank that has limited staff available, this process is a blessing. The only issue I have is we can’t deal with more people like you guys;-) Everything is awesome!! I mean that with great sincerity. Claims are dealt with very fast, usually the same day. If there’s anything we need, everyone at Golden Eagle and Ben Webb at Great American are great to deal with and are always willing to help/explain/etc. The online product is extremely easy to work with and our employees love it. When we have a claim, it is handled fairly and quickly to ensure we receive our settlement timely. We appreciate that you have employees who follow the claim through the entire process. Your service was recently put to the test when we did not receive an anticipated settlement amount from a primary insurance company. Golden Eagle stepped in and was very helpful in getting things resolved, going so far as to pay a significant portion of the loss out of your own company funds to make sure we were ultimately satisfied. I wanted to take the opportunity to let you know how much I have appreciated the amazing service that we have received from you and Golden Eagle over the past couple of years! As you may remember, our process for force placing coverage was very time consuming before we partnered with Golden Eagle. The services that have been offered to us have helped us tremendously! In the beginning we engaged Golden Eagle Insurance to assist with implementation of a Blanket Mortgage Insurance. After experiencing what great customer service Golden Eagle Insurance has to offer, we soon decided to move other services to the company as a renewal would come due from other vendors.
